The Durham Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro William Henry Curry, with special guest conductor, Wayne Wyman will hold their annual Pops in the Park Concert series titled ?Classical Thunder: 1812 Overture, West Side Story, and more?.

Sunday, April 22, 5:00 PM Piney Wood Park Pavillion, Durham
An Instrument Petting Zoo courtesy of High Strung Violins & Guitars will be open 30 minutes before each concert starts and for 30 minutes after they end. The Instrument Petting Zoo is a great opportunity for budding musicians of all ages to learn what it feels like to play a variety of stringed instruments.

The concerts are free to the public. Donations will be accepted.
